Perfect Pan-Fried Chicken Breast

This recipe is quick and easy to make. When I am at home and have some chicken breast in my refrigerator to cook, I immediately use this recipe because it always comes out great, and I can use it for many types of dishes. This can be added to a salad or soup. It will also taste great in chicken Alfredo and chicken salad. It can be served as sliced chicken breast with vegetables for dinner.

Ingredients

2-4 Chicken Breast cut in half

2 tsp Trader Joes Green Goddess Seasoning Blend

1/2 tsp Garlic Power

1/4 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Pepper

2-4 TBL Olive Oil

Food Thermometer

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine all of the seasonings in a small bowl.

2. After rinsing the chicken breast place them in a plastic bag. Pound the thickest part of the chicken until you reach the desired thinnest.

3. Pat dry the chicken with a paper towel and lightly sprinkle the seasonings on both sides for the chicken breast.

4. Turn the stop top on medium/low. Add the olive oil to the pan.

5. Place two chicken breasts in the pan with the top side down.

6. Cook the chicken in the pan for 7-10 minutes on the first side.

7. Flip the chicken using a spatula or tongs and cook for another 7-10 minutes.

8. Check to see if the internal temperature of the chicken is 165 degrees. If it has reached 165 remove the chicken from the pan.

9. Serve on a platter with two of your favorite side dishes.

Use only salt and pepper – slice the chicken and use it all week for meal prep.
