Have you ever tried making a bow and just gave up because you couldn’t figure out how to turn the ribbon in the back before you make the next loop? This way of making a bow is so easy and fail proof. Materials
2.5 inch width ribbon or any width that you desire
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun
Glue Sticks
Gloves to protect hands from the hot glue
Plastic covering to protect the table surface
1 Zip Tie at least 6 inches long
For these directions you will be making a simple bow with a center piece, two loops on both sides and two tails cut at an angle. You can add additional loops as need.
- Cut a piece of ribbon that is 5 inches long
- Cut three pieces of ribbon that is 20 inches long

3. Hot glue each piece or ribbon so that it forms a circle. Make sure that a piece of the ribbon overlaps when hot glueing each of the ends together.

4. Allow the hot glue to dry completely before proceeding to the next step.

5. Assemble the bow by stacking the pieces on top of each other like in the picture below. The longer lengths go on the bottom. * Add extra loops in this step if you need some. For this example you will only have two long loops and one small loop.

6.Feed the zip tie through the smallest loop and around the back of the bow. (longest piece of ribbon). Tighten the zip tie slowly.

7. Adjust the loops so that there are two on both sides. One should be higher than the other one. Pull the two ends of ribbon that is not glued together, so they form the two tails. Cut the tails at an angle and cut the zip tie in the back of the bow. Fluff up all the loops on the bow and the center loop.
